This window was completely disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled using new lead cames, by David Guarducci, and delivered back to the church February 24, 1996. The first photos show cracks in the lead which necessitated the rebuilding. The failure of the lead is simply the result of age, combined with the considerable weight of the glass it supports.
