Frederick Sargent Huntington: &quot;The photos in this book show views of the window from the north wall of the sanctuary of the Worthington Congregational Church. This window was completely disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled using new lead cames, by David Guarducci, and delivered back to the church February 24, 1996. The first photos show cracks in the lead which necessitated the rebuilding. The failure of the lead is simply the result of age, combined with the considerable weight of the glass it supports. Other photos indicate something of the multi-layer construction of the window and of the meticulous steps required in reassembling.&quot; Guarducci Stain Glass Studios, Montainview Road, North Egremont, MA 01252. This window is reputed to be of equal status to a Tiffany window. Restoration paid for by Snyder/Rolland Family.]]></dcterms:description>
