Mrs. Sophia P. Stone Stevens (1816-1910) sitting in a rocking chair with a book. She was the wife of Aaron Stevens and the mother of Deacon Eugene Stevens and Cullen Stevens. Buried in North Cemetery. The handwriting (with the date 1901) on the paper envelope appears to be that of Harriet L. P. Rice. She may have been the photographer. There are scans of paper photographs of Mrs. Stevens taken on the same day archived with the identifier Ph101al.
