    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Genealogy - Memorial, Russell Herman Conwell Memorial Service Booklet The memorial Service Booklet for Russell Herman Conwell, September 6, 1931, at South Worthington Uncer the Auspices of the Grange. The front of the booklet shows an image of the stone (identify) with a plaque stating &quot;Birthplace of Russell Herman Conwell, February 15, 1843, Minister of the Gospel, Founder of Temple University, Patriot, Orator, Author, Educator.&quot; Participating in the Morning Service were: Arthur G. Capen, Rev. John C. Wightman, Miss Jane Tuttle, Reverend Harlan Creelman and three hymns were sung. Participating in the afternoon service were Henry N. Jenks, Miss Jane Tuttle, Reverend Carl Sangre, Reverend Charles H. Smith and two hymns were sung. Thee was also a dedication of the Glen Gove Wild Life Sanctuary at 4:00 (where is this? identify) There is a picture of R. H. Conwell and the booklet is beige paper with brown ink.  It is within the folder numbered 52-13.<br />

At this date, this folder contains handwritten papers on Conwell, newspaper articles, reprint of Stonewalls article by Lois Ashe Brown, article from the Christian Herald regarding Temple University, a booklet from Marion Bartlett called &quot;An Appreciation&quot; publlshed by Great Heart Society. Excerpt from Manuscript biography of Russell H. Conwell, by William Robbins Stone, written in late 1930s.<br />
