Fortunately information was sewn on it by Effie Higgins Pease, who was the third wife of Edwin Pease. It was a dress worn by Elisha Cole of Chesterfield, born in 1846. Research was done to find the connection to the pease family. It was found that James Pease, who was born in 1839, married Eliza Cole from Chesterfield. Elisha was Eliza's brother. James and Eliza Pease owned the farm on Kinne Brook Road which is now the Lake farm. James and Eliza were parents to Edwin Pease. Edwin and Nellie Bartlett Pease, his first wife, were parents of Kenneth pease. He was married to Ethel Zarr.
