Mr. Hilbert purchased the home, known as the Elisha Kinnie farm, from Mrs. Kinnie, whose husband 'had it of his father,' Abner (b. 1790 d. 1878). As of 1905, the farm consisted of 300 acres and 'keeps twenty-three cattle, four horses, six pigs, and cuts forty tons of hay.' Currently 312 Ireland St. in Chesterfield.
