Description
South facade of Lester Champion house. Lester built this house from fieldstone found in the immediate vicinity in the late 1940's to 1950's. He lived there with wife Mary for many years until her death in the 1990's. Mr. Champion passed away in 2009. As of the end of 2009, the house was an uninhabitable ruin. This house is located about 1.3 KM E of the traffic light.
In mid 2010, the place was under active renovation. By October, a green standing-seam metal roof had been installed on wood truss-work set on 4 walls that had been brought up level.
