Description
Black and white photograph of Clara and Mr. Blair's house on Goss Hill. Clara was born in Hartford, CT on August 26th, 1830 to Dyer and Lucinda Harger. David Blair was born to Nathan and Sally Tyrell Blair in Blandford in 1819 and died in South Worthington in 1879. Clara and David married in August of 1872 when she was 42 and he was 53. The house was purchased from Benjamin Niles, who acquired it from Peter Niles, who acquired it from Ebenezer Niles - the first Niles to settle in Worthington.
