Sepia postcard, glossy finish, borderless. Titled: 'The Eagles Nest, So. Worthington, Mass.' On the back along the left margin: 'Harris Post Card C o., Pittston Pa. and Mt. Arlington, N. J.' The letter looks like that used by Herbert Berniss Thasher (1884-1927), but he is not specifically credited.
Russell H. Conwell (1843-1925) and his second wife, Sarah Sanborn (1843-1910), were married in 1873. The postcard was mailed on Sep 30, 1913, to Dorothy Pettingill in Framingham.

Thrasher was the son of George M. and Hattie Lyman Thrasher. Guy Thrasher was his brother. The sample book was produced during the 1920s when H. B. Thrasher was living and working in Florida. The images are undated.
