Description
John Jarvis (1888-1967), immigrated from Lithuania in 1910 and eventually settled in Worthington along with his sister, Mary. His farm at the corner of Indian Oven Road and Old Post Road (no longer extant) was known for its large number of turkeys. This image shows John Jarvis with his prize-winning corn. On The back: "This pic appeared in a farmers magazine for raising price corn. John Jarvis's corn crop, probably 1950s or 1960s.
