Two part letter. Part 1: Letter (dated June 5, 1833) from Lucretia Clark (1814-1846) to her sister Elvira Boise. Part 2 (dated June 10, 1833): Letter from Spencer Clark (1780-1856) , tanner and mill operator on West Street, to son-in-law Otis Boise, married to his daughter Elvira. The Clarks lived in Worthington, the Boise family had just moved to Chagrin, Ohio, via the Erie Canal.. Spencer was married to Hadassah Bardwell (1774-1843).
