Handwritten letter from Oliver Phelps of Granville, MA, dated December 13, 1779, requesting help from the Reverend Jonathan Huntington (June 17, 1733- March 11, 1781) with securing someone to build a frame for a barn in Granville. The Reverend Mr. Huntington was well known for having built the parsonage in which his family lived on West Street. This is the first documented evidence of his role as a contractor outside of Worthington.
