Description
Found in the walls of old Burr schoolhouse, originally attached to the general store located at the corner of Huntington Road and Harvey Road in Worthington Center. This store was operated by C. K. Brewster, among others. 2 cast iron molds for casting sinkers: hinged for molding a 170 gram (6oz.) and 227 gram (8 oz) sinkers at one time. Imprinted with C. Palmer Mfg. Co., West Newton, Pa, 15089, verso - inline sinker mold 853.
