In April 2001, Lyn Horton could not find the original thirteen functional large flatirons in the estate given to WHS. However, on 7/31/2006, during a trip to the Capen/Riverside School House, they were discovered in a box and brought to the basement of the Historical Society. Please see also F33 (on display).
