These are notes regarding a large Bible that is in storage at the Worthington Historical Society. The book is 11-1/2' x 9' x 3-1/2' please see Box 52, 2005a-080. Inscribed on the first page: 'James Thompson'; inscribed on the next page 'To Dr. and Mrs. Thompson, From Mr. and Mrs. Swift? a lamp to guide their feet for daily use, December 25, 1846. Frontispiece: 'The Holy Bible; Old and New Testaments; translated out of the original tongues, and with the former translations diligently compared and revised.
