Porter to Lyn Horton, dated 1 May 2001, indicating there is much value in these letters as they pertain to the history of Worthington. #2. March 8, 1945. Brown lot, Oliver Brown, Lawrence Randall, Ira D. Jones, John Eager, hearsay about the house indicates that it is a brick house covered with clapboards ? Scott place (identify Aurora Smith), School House used to stand on the hill near the Hart place, Eager District, a.k.a Burr District, stones outllining the property have been moved, Cullen and Eugene, Uncle Aaron's sawmill burned in 1857.
