Know all men by these presents that We
Joseph M. Burr, Sidney Brewster, Maurice Parsons, Lucius
Bartlett, Charles Coit, Omar Bartlett, Lafayette Stevens, Nathan
C. Stevens, Aaron Stevens Jr., Franklin Burr, Lyman Randall,
Jonathan Brewster Jr., James K. Burr, Mariah C. Prentice,
Ethan C. King, Nahum Blackman,
of Worthington in the County of Hampshire and State
of Massachusetts have made constituted and appointed
and by these presents do make constitute and appoint
our stead put and depute Elisha H. Brewster Esq. of said
Worthington our true and lawful attorney for us and in
our name place and stead to grant bargain and sell and
quitclaim all our right title and interest in and to that
tract of land bounded on the north by land of said
Brewster on the west by land of said Brewster and land of
S. Brewster & Son, on the south by the highway, on the east
by land of the estate of C. H. Parish with the buildings
thereon, giving him the said E. H. Brewster hereby full power
to convey the same unto such person or persons and for
such price or prices as he shall think proper, and also for
us and in our names place and stead and as our proper act
and deed to sign, seal, deliver and acknowledge all such deed
or deeds of conveyance as shall be necessary for the absolute
quitclaiming of all our interest in said premises unto the purchaser
or purchasers.
In witness whereof we have hereunto
set our hands and seals this tenth day
of February eighteen hundred & fifty nine.
