Description

Black and white glass slide showing the John. E. Witherell store on South Worthington Road (road leading to Center on east side of the river, now mostly abandoned). Older woman on porch is probably Isabella Witherell (1840-1825). The younger woman may be her daughter, Isabelle Mary (later Stetson) (1879-1975). The slide is part of a series about South Worthington produced by Queen and Company 1010 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia.

Also a Bill of Sale from the Store for sythe. syhte snatch, hat tobacco and a rake.
