Divided back. Mailed from Dalton, Aug. 21, 1910. Addressed to Miss Frances Greene, Newhall St., Lynn, Mass. Message:I leave D. [Dalton] for N.Y. next Thursday and expect to take boat for Boston on Sunday or Saturday night, If all right w?ill stay over night with you in Lynn one night. L. B. W.' [Witherell?]'. Postcard shows numerous details: 1882 on front of house. J. E. Witherell sign above door porch. Two women standing on porch. Sign on left reads: 'Dr. A. C. Daniels Horse and Dog Medicines for Home Treatment' Box lof floor near women on left reads 'Fels-Naptha' while box on barrel behind her reads: 'Chase and Sanborn's Seal Brand Coffee'. The sign on the wall reads: 'W.W. Boynton's Ice Cold Soda on sale here.' Also visible is a 'Tanglefoot' sign and a box of genuine 'Mason Fruit Jars'. The sign on the side of the building reads; 'New Eng. Tel & Tel. Co. Public Telephone Station.' Currently in the collection of Gary Roy.
